As Einstein once said, “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.” It doesn’t take a genius to know just how true this can be. Join us at Joe’s Pub on Tuesday, April 30 at 7pmET for our April show, “Uh-Oh: Stories about Mistakes.” We’ve all been there—from momentary lapses of judgment to the types of miscalculations that alter the course of our lives. Our wonderful lineup of intergenerational storytellers will be honoring the mistakes of their pasts as a celebration of our shared humanity. Let’s raise a glass to the errors that make us who we are and the slip-ups that make life more interesting. Team 20s: Angelica Guarino is a playwright and librettist. Her full-length play Mercury in Gatorade premiered in NYTF’s Winterfest ‘22. Her new play REVOLT is in development as part of NJ Play Lab’s 2024 Residency program. She lives in New Jersey with her partner, two dogs, and a bearded dragon.

Team 30s: Carly Ciarrocchi is an Emmy-nominated host, writer, and producer working primarily in children's media. Favorite projects include co-hosting Weird But True (Disney+ / National Geographic Kids) and the Who When Wow: Mystery Edition podcast (Tinkercast). She is currently writing a middle grade detective novel, and is a Moth Story Slam winner.

Team 40s: Erica Brown is a dedicated advocate for community engagement in Kingston, NY, balancing her role as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Radio Kingston with her commitment to her family. She is a board member for organizations such as the Kingston Library, the TMI Project, and the Good Work Institute.

Team 50s: Sara Stansberry is a seasoned storyteller and prolific writer, yet her true calling lies in her role as a certified life coach. As both a writer and life coach, she empowers individuals who feel a sense of diminished self-identity. Notably, Sara is currently engaged in the writing of her debut book, entitled "How To Blow Up Your Life in 3 Simple Steps," which is scheduled for publication in June 2025.

Team 60s: Leigh Haber runs Leigh Haber Literary, and works as an independent writer and reviewer for publications such as the NYTBR and WaPo and a strategic consultant for Zibby Owens Media, Supporting Cast, Tertulia and Girls Write Now. For ten years she was Director of Oprah's Book Club and oversaw all books coverage for O, The Oprah Magazine. She is on the board of the Carol Shields Prize for Fiction.

Team 80s: Judy Ruskay Rabinor has spent the better part of the past 50 years working as a clinical psychologist and writing about eating disorders, healing and psychotherapy. After publishing her 3rd book, a memoir, she began writing plays. Her first 10 minute play, The Secret will be produced at the Long Beach Short Play Festival  in Long Beach, Long Island next month.
