Georgia is a talented teacher, producer and author. She helped me fine-tune my story by focusing on what the stakes were for me, tweaking the opening, teaching how to use dialogue to create a sense of dramatic tension, and showing ways to incorporate reflection and humor. We are fortunate to have Georgia in New York!

I was both excited and anxious before class as I had minimal story telling experience. Georgia was very welcoming and started with her theory after which we jumped into an exercise. The feedback from fellow students and Georgia was so helpful as well as Georgia’s extra support. Since this class I look at everything I write with the story telling lens even at the day job and my communications have most definitely improved.

Great workshop. Georgia gave such a clear definition of stoytelling terms and basics; it felt really easy to start writing. Her feedback in the room was really useful and great to see examples of how to make slight changes to make pieces even more compelling and resonate more with an audience. Would definitely recommend.

Georgia provided me with both inspiration and concrete techniques for vastly improving my writing. I enjoyed meeting the other participants and listening to their work. Georgia created a secure and warm atmosphere that allowed for creative freedom and expression. And she made it fun!
