Six storytellers.
Six generations.
Generation Women® is a multigenerational storytelling event series based in New York City, featuring women and non-binary storytellers from their twenties to their eighties.
At our monthly live show, six storytellers of note share an original, true story on a theme. Our diverse line-ups will make you laugh, cry, and reflect on the cycle of life. Generation Women is an intimate literary salon that brings together people of all ages. Hosted/created by the author Georgia Clark.
Next show:
Tuesday, June 16 at
7pmET at Joe’s Pub, NYC.
Theme: Play
This June, Generation Women is celebrating the publication of our founder Georgia Clark's new novel, Play It Again, with a night of stories on the theme of PLAY. Six women. Six decades. Six true stories about what happens when we let ourselves play — and what we lose when we stop.
Every ticket includes a signed copy of Play It Again, a queer ensemble rom-com about four former theater kids who reunite after twenty years to save the community stage where they first fell in love. Out June 16 from The Dial Press/Penguin Random House.
Come for the stories. Leave with a novel. Don't miss New York's best storytelling night.
“It’s easy to see why women are so inspired by these cross generational events.”
