Six storytellers.
Six generations.
Generation Women® is a multigenerational storytelling series featuring six women or non-binary storytellers — one in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s+ — each sharing an original true story on a theme. Our diverse line-ups will make you laugh, cry, and look forward to every age of your life.
Founded in New York City in 2017 by Georgia Clark, Generation Women exists to amplify underheard voices and create space for intergenerational connection and community. All are welcome to join us.
Next show:
Tuesday, October 13 at
7pmET at Joe’s Pub, NYC.
Theme: Nerve
Join us this October as we celebrate NERVE: stories of audacity, boldness, and the moment fear stopped getting the final vote. Six women and non-binary storytellers — one from each decade, 20s through 70s — share true stories of walking into rooms they weren't invited to; taking the big swing despite the odds; telling the truth everyone else was tiptoeing around; quitting, leaping, confronting, and confessing. Some acts of nerve are loud and public; some are quiet audacities no one else ever noticed. All of them changed everything.
Don't miss New York's best storytelling night — an evening of heart, humor, and hard-won courage that will leave you ready to find your own nerve!
“It’s easy to see why women are so inspired by these cross generational events.”
