A Generation Women Experience
KINDRED
Community, coaching, and creative freedom — crowned by a magical 3-night Hudson Valley writers’ retreat.
Come Back to Your Writing, and to Yourself.

Guided by author and coach Georgia Clark, Kindred is a Hudson Valley writers retreat and creative coaching experience for women and non-binary writers who want to create boldly, connect deeply, and build lasting momentum.
Over four intentional weeks (three online, one in person), you’ll join a small circle of writers for a guided creative journey that helps you get unstuck, get seen, and get serious about your craft.
Kindred isn’t just a writing retreat — it’s coaching, community, and courage, all leading up to (and flowing from) one unforgettable weekend in the Hudson Valley.

Inside, 19th-century oak floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and sunlit writing spaces create an atmosphere that’s both historic and inspiring — the ideal creative writing retreat in New York.
The great rooms invite communal meals and lively conversation, while tucked-away corners, cozy fireplaces, and quiet writing nooks offer solitude for reflection and flow. You’ll also find a furnished game room for laughter and connection when the day’s writing is done.
After a fulfilling day of work, unwind in your private or shared designer bedroom, then wake to chef-prepared, nourishing meals that keep your mind clear and your imagination sparked. Step outside to a sprawling riverside lawn— close enough to hear the water — and let nature refuel your inspiration.

Live participation is a key part of Kindred, but we understand that life—and time zones—can make it tricky. Sessions are held in U.S. Eastern Time, and while recordings will be provided for any you miss, no refunds or discounts are offered. You’re still welcome at the retreat even if you can’t attend all virtual sessions. Georgia may also check in with anyone unable to join live to help you stay on track.
-
Participants may receive a full refund within 48 hours of payment. After that time, all payments are non-refundableunless we are able to fill your spot from the waitlist, in which case a full refund will be issued.
Please note that we cannot offer refunds or credits for cancellations for any reason — including illness, travel disruption, or personal emergencies — beyond this policy. Because our retreats are small and space is limited, each booking directly impacts our ability to operate the program.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers unexpected illness or cancellation if you wish to protect your investment.
