What I stopped believing

Team 20: Elise R. Peterson is a visual artist, writer and educator living and working in New York. Her multidisciplinary work is informed by the past, reimagined in the framework of the evolving notions of technology, Blackness, intimacy and cross-generational narratives. 

Team 30: Stephanie Danler is the author of the critically acclaimed and nationwide best-selling novel, Sweetbitter, soon to be a TV show on Starz. She is based in Los Angeles and working on a book of non-fiction. 

Team 40: Jess Rowland is a sound artist, performer, and writer. Her recent escapades include The Disasters, a collection of short fiction, and an exhibit of Compositions for Paper Speakers at Dartmouth College.

Team 50: Maureen Connolly is an award-winning writer and the author of three books, and is really hoping Netflix will fall in love with her original idea "The In-Between," a TV dramedy about a 40-something TV producer raising three complex sons during the social media age while her marriage and career are unraveling.

Team 60: Yona Zeldis McDonough is the author of seven novels and twenty-seven books for children. She is also the Fiction Editor of Lilith Magazine.
