Team 40s: Kate Schmiedling is a creative creature who thrives on what it means to be alive.She is the Creative Operations Direction for NYS. Kate loves the 5 Ps: people, poetry, pop culture, push ups and parmesan.
Team 50s: Susan Henderson is a seven-time Pushcart Prize nominee, the recipient of an Academy of American Poets Award, and the author of two novels, Up from the Blue and The Flicker of Old Dreams, both published by HarperCollins. Susan blogs at LitPark.com.
Team 60s: Helen Little is a media personality, writer, speaker, coach and mentor. She can be heard on HeartRadio’s 106.7 Lite-FM in NYC and is also the host of the Public Library Podcast: A Place to Check Out Books. She is currently working on her first novel.
Team 70s: Rita Plush is a writer, storyteller and author of the novels Lily Steps Out and Feminine Products and the short story collection Alterations. She is the book reviewer for Fire Island & South Bay News. Her stories and essays have appeared in numerous journals. Her storytelling venues include Risk!! Generation Women, How Was It? New Tricks and LoveNotes.
